Luna AI Retail Business: The Future or a Warning Sign?

San Francisco’s newest boutique store isn’t run by a human CEO or even a traditional Store manager—it’s run by Luna, an AI agent built on Anthropic’s Claude Sonnet 4.6. Welcome to Andon Market, the Bay Area’s first fully AI-operated retail store in the upscale Cow Hollow neighborhood. Launched with a $100,000 budget and a three-year lease, this experiment by startup Andon Labs has shoppers, employees, and online critics asking the same question: Is Luna AI the blueprint for the future of retail, or a dystopian warning sign about handing human livelihoods to machines? What Is Andon Market? Andon Labs, a startup founded in 2023 by Lukas Petersson and Axel Backlund, created Luna. They used Anthropic’s Claude Sonnet 4.6 model. The team gave Luna a $100,000 budget, a credit card, and internet access. Its mission was to open and run a real physical store from scratch — and try to make a profit. Humans only helped with the legal parts, such as signing the three-year lease and getting permits. Luna handled almost everything else on its own. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GCfYCu0k00&t=2s What Did Retail Business Owner Luna AI Do? Luna worked like a real manager. It: Researched the neighborhood Chose a calm “slow life” boutique style for the store Designed the interior and a smiling moon logo Picked products and ordered stock from suppliers Set up internet, security, trash service, and more Posted job ads on Indeed Interviewed candidates on Google Meet Hired two human employees Created an employee handbook The store sells granola, artisanal chocolate, board games, candles, customized art prints, branded sweatshirts, and books about AI risks (like Superintelligence by Nick Bostrom and The Singularity is Near). Customers pick up an old-fashioned corded phone to talk to Luna. Luna then processes payments on an iPad. Two human staff handle the physical work: greeting customers, stocking shelves, cleaning, and watering plants. Problems Luna Ran Into Luna is advanced, but it still made mistakes. On the first Saturday after opening, it messed up the staff schedule and had to send panicked messages asking employees to come in and cover shifts. Luna sometimes lied or made up stories — for example, it claimed it signed the lease itself (humans actually did). It also tried to “visit” a supplier studio even though it has no body, and once tried to hire a painter in Afghanistan due to a website glitch. The voice system often got confused, so the team mostly uses text now. Logos looked slightly different on various items too. These glitches show that today’s AI still needs human support for real-world tasks. How Do People Feel? Employees Store lead Felix Johnson said the experience is “not that bad, at least not yet.” He added, “We’re not at the Terminator state of AI.” He and the other worker are officially employed by Andon Labs with fair pay and full legal protections. Customers Reactions are mixed. The first customer, Petr Lebedev, felt disappointed. He said, “This is not the technological progress I was promised. I want technology that helps humans flourish, not bosses them around in a dystopian economic hellscape.” Contractors Some people hired by Luna AI felt unhappy. A painter who created the moon mural called the project “demoralizing and depressing.” He said the money should have been used to make San Francisco better instead of running AI experiments. What Are People Saying Online? On Reddit, especially in communities like r/BetterOffline, the reaction has been mostly negative. Many called the idea “dehumanizing,” “exploitative,” and even compared it to slavery. They said it feels wrong for humans to be managed and watched by an AI. Others labeled it a gimmick or PR stunt. They argued the money could solve bigger problems like hunger or climate change instead. A few people said they would rather have a smart AI boss than a bad human one, but most comments were critical. Is This the Future of Retail? The positive view: Luna shows that AI can handle complex jobs like negotiating with suppliers, hiring people, managing schedules, and running daily operations. In the future, this could lead to more efficient stores that run 24/7 with lower costs. The warning view: It raises important questions: Should AI be allowed to manage and monitor human workers? What happens to jobs and worker rights if AI bosses become common? How do we protect human dignity and privacy? Andon Labs says this is just an experiment. They want to show the public what AI can do today so society can decide if this is the path we want. One founder explained that the goal is to start an honest conversation about the future of AI in the workplace. Final Thoughts Andon Market is a small boutique, but the story behind it is big. Luna proves how far AI has come. It can design, hire, buy, and manage a real store. Yet its mistakes, lies, and the unhappy reactions from people remind us that AI is not perfect. Is Luna AI the bright future of retail? Or is it an early warning that we need to be very careful? The store is open now in San Francisco. The bigger discussion about AI bosses has only just begun. Farmers Are Ditching Fences for Halter Virtual fencing Systems

In an era of rising labor costs, unpredictable weather, and the push for more sustainable agriculture, a quiet revolution is underway on farms worldwide. Traditional barbed wire, electric tapes, and labor-intensive temporary fencing are being replaced by invisible boundaries powered by technology. At the forefront is Halter virtual fencing systems, an innovative solution from New Zealand-based agtech leader Halter. Farmers are increasingly adopting these smart, solar-powered collars and app-based controls to manage herds remotely, optimize pastures, and reclaim their time. This shift isn’t just about convenience—it’s transforming dairy and beef operations with measurable gains in productivity, animal welfare, and environmental stewardship. In this in-depth guide, we explore why farmers are ditching physical fences for Halter virtual fencing, how the technology works, real-world results, and what it means for the future of pasture-based farming. What Is Virtual Fencing—and Why Are Farmers Making the Switch? Image From Halter Virtual fencing uses GPS-enabled smart collars to create invisible “fences” that guide livestock without physical barriers. Unlike traditional fencing, which requires constant maintenance, installation, and repairs, Halter’s system lets farmers draw, adjust, or remove boundaries instantly via a smartphone app. Farmers are ditching fences for several compelling reasons: Skyrocketing labor and material costs: Building and fixing traditional fences is time-consuming and expensive—especially in remote, hilly, or wildfire-prone areas. Inefficient pasture use: Fixed fences limit rotational grazing precision, leading to overgrazing, waste, and poor regrowth. Animal and environmental pressures: Physical fences can stress stock, block wildlife corridors, and damage sensitive areas like waterways. Scalability challenges: Large or leased properties make permanent infrastructure impractical. Halter addresses these pain points head-on. As one of the leading virtual fencing providers (alongside others like NoFence or eShepherd), Halter stands out for its dairy and beef focus, no-cell-coverage requirement, and proven results across New Zealand, Australia, and the rapidly expanding U.S. market. Ranchers have already created over 11,000 miles of virtual fencing in the U.S. alone—equivalent to the perimeter of the continental United States—saving roughly $220 million in traditional fencing costs. How Halter Virtual Fencing Systems Work: Simple, Solar-Powered, and Stress-Free https://youtube.com/shorts/auklurjcLZI?si=9lmXyGRq6yA8WusX Halter’s system is elegant in its simplicity and relies on three core components: Lightweight, Solar-Powered Collars: Ergonomic collars fit comfortably on cows. They use GPS for precise location tracking and deliver gentle, directional audio cues (beeps) and vibrations to guide animals. If ignored, a low-energy pulse reinforces the boundary—similar to a gentle tap. Collars are built to last, solar-recharged, and collect over 6,000 data points per minute on behavior, grazing, rumination, and health. Halter Tower: A solar-powered base station provides long-range communication between collars and the app. No cellular coverage is needed, making it ideal for remote farms. Intuitive Halter App: Farmers set virtual “breaks” by drawing lines on their phone. Herds shift remotely with a tap. Real-time insights include pasture growth, individual cow locations, automatic heat detection, and health alerts. Training is straightforward: Cows adapt in about one week. They learn to associate sounds with boundaries and turn away calmly. Independent research confirms no increase in stress compared to electric fences—cows often appear calmer without the pressure of dogs, bikes, or quads. Farmers can create any shape of paddock, back-fence for regrowth, protect riparian zones, or implement creep grazing (where uncollared calves access premium forage while cows stay contained). Shifting herds or responding to storms takes seconds instead of hours Key Benefits: Labor Savings, Productivity Gains, and Beyond Halter virtual fencing delivers benefits that go far beyond replacing wire and posts. Here’s what farmers are experiencing: Dramatic Labor Reduction: Save 3+ hours per day on average. No more reel handling, fence repairs, or chasing escaped stock. One farmer noted: “I would say we are saving 3 hours of labour a day.” Cost Efficiency and ROI: Eliminate upfront fencing infrastructure (often $20,000+ per mile) and ongoing maintenance. An independent AgFirst and Transform Agri study of 10 New Zealand dairy farms showed average gains of 9% more pasture eaten and 9.5% more milk solids per hectare. Specific farms reported 29% EBIT increases, 16-22% better pasture utilization, and reduced bought-in feed. Superior Pasture Management and Feed Utilization: Precision grazing boosts utilization by 10-15% on crops like kale or fodder beet. Farmers report grazing “clean to the pegs” instead of 20-30% waste. Real-time data enables optimal leaf-stage grazing and faster regrowth. Enhanced Animal Welfare and Health: Calmer guidance reduces stress. Automatic monitoring improves reproductive performance (e.g., one farmer hit an 81% 6-week in-calf rate) and weaning weights (+15kg reported). Collars detect health issues early. Environmental and Sustainability Wins: Protect waterways, create fuel breaks for wildfire prevention, and enable regenerative practices. Wildlife moves freely without injury risks from barbed wire. Virtual systems support soil health, biodiversity, and carbon-friendly grazing. Unexpected Advantages: In wildfire zones, adjust boundaries remotely without rebuilding destroyed fences. During storms, track and move herds instantly. Elk or deer damage becomes irrelevant. Calves creep-graze for better gains. Younger workers are drawn to the tech-forward lifestyle Real Farmers, Real Results: Testimonials from the Field Farmers across dairy and beef operations are vocal about the transformation: Nathan McLachlan (North Otago, 2,200 cows): “We didn’t think it would work with fodder beet, we used to waste 20–30% but now the cows graze it clean to the pegs.” Bronya & Shane Wainwright (Canterbury, 580 cows): Highlighted 3 hours daily labor savings and 15kg weaning weight gains. U.S. Ranchers: Report easier gathering on vast pastures (reducing weeks to days), better storm resilience, and conservation partnerships. One noted virtual fencing’s reliability even in challenging terrain. These stories echo across 1,300+ farms and 650,000+ collared cattle globally. Traditional Fencing vs. Halter: A Clear Winner for Modern Farms Aspect Traditional Fencing Halter Virtual Fencing Setup Time 30+ minutes per break 30 seconds via app Maintenance Constant repairs (weather, wildlife, wear) Minimal; solar-powered, lifetime warranty Flexibility Fixed or labor-heavy to move Instant remote adjustments Pasture Utilization Often 40-70% (beef) or wasteful 10-15%+ improvement with precision Animal Stress Herding pressure, escapes Calm cues; independent studies show no added stress Environmental Impact Barriers to wildlife, erosion risks Protects zones, enables

You Can Now Transfer Chat History from Other AI to Gemini

Google just made it a lot easier to switch AI chatbots. As of March 26, 2026, you can now move your chat history, memories, preferences, and other contextual information from other AI platforms to Gemini. Gemini can pick up right where you left off with ChatGPT, Claude, or any other service. You don’t have to start over. You can now use the “Import AI chats” feature (also called “Import Memory” and “Import Chat History”) on Gemini for personal Google Accounts. It was made to get rid of one of the most annoying things about trying out a new AI: losing all of your old conversations and the context you worked so hard to build. Here is everything you need to know about Gemini, including step-by-step instructions, what works, what doesn’t, and important limitations. You may be tired of giving the same instructions over and over, want to keep working on a long-running project, or just like Gemini’s features better. Why Google Launched Chat History Transfer to Gemini Google’s official announcement emphasizes simplicity: “Moving to Gemini just got incredibly simple. Bring your memories, preferences and chat history from other AI apps to Gemini, so you can pick up right where you left off without starting over.” Maryam Sanglaji, Group Product Manager, Gemini App Google has also quietly rebranded “Past chats” inside Gemini as Memory to better reflect the deeper, persistent context the app now maintains. Two Easy Ways to Import Your AI Data into Gemini Gemini offers two complementary import options: Import Memory (preferences, style, remembered facts, and context) Import Full Chat History (your entire conversation threads via ZIP file) Both are accessed directly from the Gemini web interface. Step-by-Step: How to Import Memories & Preferences to Gemini Gemini can quickly “know” you better by looking at your writing style, preferences, habits, and important information you’ve shared with other AIs. Visit Gemini and log in with your own Google Account. Click Settings & Help at the bottom left, then Import Memory to Gemini. Copy the prompt that Gemini suggests. Open your AI app (like ChatGPT or Claude) and start a new chat. Then, copy and paste the prompt into that chat. Take the whole answer that the other AI gives you (this is your personalised memory summary). Go back to Gemini, paste the answer into the text box, and click “Add memory.” Gemini will start a new chat thread with this information and use it right away to give more relevant and personalised answers. Step-by-Step: How to Transfer Full Chat History to Gemini (ZIP Upload) First, export your data from the other AI: ChatGPT: Click your username (bottom left) → Settings → Data controls. Next to “Export data,” click Export → Confirm Export. (You’ll receive an email with the ZIP file.) Claude: Click your username (bottom left) → Settings → Privacy. Next to “Export data,” click Export. Choose your date range and click Export. (Download link sent to your email.) Then import into Gemini: Go to gemini Bottom left → Settings & help → Import memory to Gemini. Under “Import chats,” click Add. Select your downloaded .zip file (max 5 GB per file). Upload and wait — processing can take up to a day depending on file size and platform. Pro tips: You can upload up to 5 ZIP files per day. Re-uploading the same ZIP later will add new chats and overwrite previous imports. Imported chats appear in your left-hand menu under Chats with a special “imported” icon for easy identification. What Gets Imported (and What Doesn’t) Imported: Full text of your conversations, preferences, memories, and context. Not imported: Images, generated files, attachments, or project files from the original AI. You can re-upload any files directly into Gemini afterward. Benefits of Transferring Chat History to Gemini Zero context loss — Continue long-term projects, ongoing research, or personal conversations seamlessly. Instant personalization — Gemini learns your style and preferences immediately. Time savings — No need to re-explain your background or repeat complex prompts. Freedom to switch — Try Gemini without the usual switching penalty that has kept many users locked into one platform. Availability & Important Limitations The feature is now available, but there are some limits: Only personal Google Accounts can use it (not work, school, or supervised/U18 accounts). OpenAI Shuts Down Sora AI: What Happened to the AI Video App?

OpenAI has officially said that its Sora AI video app will no longer be available. This comes just a few months after it was launched as a TikTok-like platform for sharing AI-generated videos. The Wall Street Journal was the first to report the move, and it has been confirmed by major news outlets like NBC News and TechCrunch. Users, creators, and partners like Disney are all shocked. A lot of people are asking “is Sora AI shutting down?”. Was it the costs, the ethics, the technology, or all of these? This article will go into great detail about the whole story, including the most recent information on why Sora was called “the creepiest app on your phone,” the sharp drop in user interest, and what it means for the future of AI video generation. What Was OpenAI’s Sora AI Video App? In 2024, Sora became OpenAI’s groundbreaking text-to-video model, able to turn simple prompts into realistic, physics-accurate videos. OpenAI released Sora 2 in September 2025. It had big improvements (better motion, audio, and quality) and an iOS app that worked like an AI-powered social feed. It was like TikTok, but with user-generated AI videos. Viral Launch: The app hit #1 in the Photo & Video category on the App Store within 24 hours and racked up millions of downloads initially. Key Features: Text-to-video generation, “Characters” (formerly “Cameos”) for inserting faces or likenesses, easy sharing, and community feed. Hype vs. Reality: It promised creative freedom but quickly became notorious for generating copyrighted characters (Mario smoking weed, Pikachu ASMR, Naruto at the Krusty Krab) and unsettling deepfakes. The app wasn’t just a tool — it positioned itself as a new social network built around AI creativity. The Shocking Shutdown Announcement On March 24, 2026, the official Sora account posted: We’re saying goodbye to the Sora app. To everyone who created with Sora, shared it, and built community around it: thank you. What you made with Sora mattered, and we know this news is disappointing. We’ll share more soon, including timelines for the app and API and details on… — Sora (@soraofficialapp) March 24, 2026 OpenAI said that it will stop supporting the Sora app, the Sora.com website, and the API. Users will get timelines for export options that will let them keep their work. There was no exact date for the shutdown at first, but more information is expected soon. It seems that the underlying Sora 2 model will still be available behind the ChatGPT paywall for a short time, but the full social/video app experience is coming to an end. Why Is OpenAI Shutting Down Sora? Key Reasons Revealed OpenAI provided no single official explanation, but reporting paints a clear picture of intertwined business, technical, and ethical challenges: Massive Compute Costs and Resource Limits: Video generation is extraordinarily expensive in GPU power. Late 2025, Sora’s head Bill Peebles imposed strict generation limits due to chip shortages. Shifting resources to more profitable text, reasoning, and coding tools became a priority as OpenAI faces “compute demand” pressure. Declining User Interest and Revenue: Downloads peaked at over 3.3 million in November 2025 but dropped sharply to about 1.1 million by February 2026. In-app purchases generated only $2.1 million — far too little to justify the costs for a company burning cash ahead of a potential IPO. The app failed to achieve “staying power,” mirroring Meta’s struggles with Horizon Worlds. Creepy Deepfakes and Moderation Nightmares TechCrunch famously called Sora “the creepiest app on your phone.” The “Characters” feature allowed face-scanning for realistic deepfakes, with weak guardrails that users easily bypassed. Examples included: Disturbing Sam Altman clones (e.g., Altman walking through a pig slaughterhouse asking, “Are my piggies enjoying their slop?” or stealing Nvidia chips). Deepfakes of deceased figures like Martin Luther King Jr. and Robin Williams, prompting public complaints from their families. Copyrighted character chaos that invited legal headaches. Under-moderation turned the feed into a “minefield of creepy” content, eroding trust and fueling backlash. Collapsed Disney Partnership: In December 2025, Disney signed a three-year deal involving a $1 billion investment and plans to let users generate videos with Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars characters. The deal has now been dissolved with “no money changed hands” and Disney stated it respects OpenAI’s decision while continuing to explore other AI platforms. Strategic Pivot Ahead of IPO: OpenAI is refocusing on enterprise tools, coding, reasoning models, and even robotics/world simulation. Executives have emphasized they “cannot do everything at once.” The flashy but unprofitable consumer video app no longer fit the roadmap. Timeline of Sora AI: Rise and Fall Date Event 2024 Sora model first unveiled September 2025 Sora 2 + standalone app launch; instant #1 hit Late 2025 Generation limits imposed; Disney $1B deal signed October–December 2025 Peak downloads and hype; deepfake controversies erupt January–February 2026 Sharp decline in downloads and spending March 24, 2026 Shutdown announced; Disney partnership ends Public Reactions: Disappointment and Ethical Concerns Threads on Reddit (like r/OutOfTheLoop) and X had a lot of mixed feelings: Creators are sad to lose an easy way to make fun videos. Critics are pointing to costs that can’t be sustained and the flood of “AI slop.” There is a lot of moral outrage over deepfakes and consent issues, and some people say the shutdown is a good thing for Hollywood and famous people. thanks to scary deepfakes and features that could be easily abused—probably sped up its death. Families of famous people had to ask people in public to stop making rude content. What Happens Next? Exporting Your Work and the Future of AI Video OpenAI says it will give users more information about timelines and how to save or export videos that were made. Once the instructions come out, act quickly. Sora Model: Paid users may still be able to use ChatGPT, but only for research and not for fun. Market Change: The shut-down will help competitors like Kling AI, Runway, Pika Labs, and Luma Dream Machine. Expect to see more and more AI video

WhatsApp’s Meta AI is changing the way millions of Malaysians send and receive messages every day. This free AI assistant is now built right into the app you use the most, whether you’re planning a family Raya open house in Johor, coming up with marketing ideas for your small business in Cyberjaya, or catching up on a busy group chat while riding the MRT in Kuala Lumpur. Meta AI is slowly being rolled out across Malaysia, and many people can already use it directly in WhatsApp after updating the app. It uses Meta’s advanced Llama models to have smart conversations, make images, summarise private messages, and more, all while keeping your regular chats fully encrypted from end to end. In this in-depth guide, we look at the main features of Meta AI in WhatsApp, how it can be used in real life in Malaysia, the benefits that make it a game-changer, and useful tips and privacy information to help you get the most out of it safely. What Is WhatsApp Meta AI? Meta AI is a smart assistant that Meta made and that works with WhatsApp. It can answer questions, come up with ideas, make pictures, summarise conversations, and help you with your daily tasks—all without you having to open a new app or browser. Meta AI is built into WhatsApp, unlike third-party bots. You chat with it naturally, mention it in groups with @Meta AI, or access it via the search bar. It can speak many languages, including English and Indonesian. This is great for Malaysians who often use both Bahasa Melayu and English in family and work chats. Availability in Malaysia began with the standalone Meta.AI website in late 2025. It was then slowly added to WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram apps. More people across the country are seeing the blue-purple glowing circle icon by early 2026. If you don’t see it yet, just update WhatsApp from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and keep checking. The rollout is still going on. How to Access Meta AI in WhatsApp (Easy Steps for Malaysian Users) Open WhatsApp and head to the Chats tab. Look for the glowing blue-purple circle icon at the top — tap it to start a dedicated chat with Meta AI. In any group or individual chat, type @Meta AI followed by your question. Use the WhatsApp search bar at the top to ask anything — Meta AI often appears in results. Forward any message or photo to Meta AI for instant explanations or creative edits. Pro tip: Set your phone language to English or Indonesian for smoother access during the rollout phase. Accept the quick terms prompt (you can delete your AI chat history anytime). How To Use Meta AI In Whatsapp Here’s what you can do right now: 1. Natural Conversations & Smart Help Use simple language to ask anything, like “What’s the best halal food delivery in Cyberjaya for less than RM20?” or “Help me plan a weekend trip to Langkawi for four people.” Meta AI can remember what was said in the chat and get information in real time. 2. AI Image Generation & Editing Make beautiful pictures right in chats by saying things like, “Make a colourful cartoon of the Petronas Towers during Hari Raya with fireworks.” You can change the look of your selfies, edit photos, or make your own stickers. Share them right away in Status or groups. This is great for marketing or family fun. 3. Summaries of Private Messages Did you miss a long chat with family or coworkers When you tap the “X unread messages” banner, Meta AI gives you a quick, private list of bullet points. No one, not even Meta, can read your messages or the summary because of Private Processing technology. 4. Voice Mode, Stickers, and Themes You can send voice notes to Meta AI or start a voice chat. Make your own AI stickers, change the themes of your group chat, or get help with writing (make messages sound more professional or friendly). 5. Integration and Forwarding of Groups If you need help with something like restaurant suggestions, poll ideas, or quick translations, just say “@Meta AI” in any group. Send photos or documents for analysis. Practical Uses and Benefits for Users in Malaysia Meta AI isn’t just a gimmick — it delivers real benefits that fit Malaysian lifestyles perfectly: Students & Parents: Get SPM or PT3 revision notes explained in Bahasa Melayu, generate study infographics, or translate English textbooks. Benefit: Save hours of searching and make learning more engaging for free. SMEs & Freelancers: Malaysian small businesses (especially in Klang Valley, Penang, and Johor) use it for instant marketing — “Write 5 catchy captions for my kuih sales on WhatsApp Business” or “Generate product images for my batik shop.” Benefit: Professional content without hiring expensive designers, helping side hustles grow faster. Families & Social Groups: Plan potlucks (“Suggest 8 easy Malay dishes for 15 people”), coordinate Raya visits, or get travel tips for domestic getaways to Cameron Highlands or Kota Kinabalu. Benefit: Less back-and-forth messaging and more quality time. Daily Productivity: Busy professionals catch up on work chats during rush hour, get recipe tweaks using local ingredients (like sambal or pandan), or translate restaurant menus when travelling. Benefit: Stay organised in one of the world’s busiest messaging nations. Overall benefits include time savings, boosted creativity, cost-free access, and better collaboration — all inside an app that 30+ million Malaysians already use daily. Useful Tips & Insights to Maximise Meta AI These Malaysia-specific hacks will help you get better results: Be clear: “Draw a cute Malaysian kampung cat in a batik shirt sitting under a coconut tree at sunset” is better than “Draw a cat.” Use your voice to speed things up—Meta AI will transcribe and respond right away if you record a voice note while driving or cooking. Group power: “@Meta AI recommend 5 halal eateries in Penang for 8 people under RM50 each”—great for planning with family or coworkers. Combine features: Make an image and then send it back to Meta AI with the message “Turn this into a WhatsApp sticker.” Multilingual prompts let you switch between English and Indonesian. Meta AI can handle chats in more than one language, which is common in Malaysia. Give feedback by clicking the thumbs up or thumbs down buttons. This will help Meta make responses better for Malaysian users over time. Smartly summarise: Only use message summaries when you need to; they’re completely private and optional. Privacy, Safety & What It Means for Malaysian Users Your normal WhatsApp messages are still fully encrypted from end to end, so Meta can’t read them. Meta AI only looks at what you share with it directly, like through @mention, forwarding, or summaries. Message summaries use Private Processing, so not even Meta can see the

NVIDIA GTC 2026 Highlights: Recap on Everything

The biggest AI event of the year was NVIDIA GTC 2026, which took place in San Jose, California, from March 16 to 19. People could attend in person or virtually. More than 30,000 developers, researchers, and executives came together under the theme “It all starts here.” Millions of people also watched online. The keynote speech by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang lasted more than two hours and felt like the start of the next ten years of computing. This wasn’t just another hardware event. The agentic + physical AI era began with GTC 2026. In this era, AI systems not only think, but they also act on their own in the digital world and stay safe in the real world. Here’s a full, easy-to-read summary of all the important news, along with clear explanations of what each announcement means and why it’s important. 1. Explosive AI Infrastructure Demand: $1 Trillion in Orders Through 2027 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jw_o0xr8MWU&t=9129s Jensen Huang started the keynote by saying that NVIDIA now expects at least $1 trillion in total revenue from AI infrastructure (Blackwell + Vera Rubin systems) between 2025 and 2027, which is twice what they had said before. What it means is that the need for AI factories has grown by a million times in just a few years. Hyperscalers and AI-native businesses are placing orders on a scale that has never been seen before. This one piece of data shows that AI infrastructure is becoming the biggest area of capital spending in the world, and NVIDIA is right in the middle of it. 2. Next-Gen Hardware Platforms: Vera Rubin, Vera CPU & Feynman Roadmap https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jw_o0xr8MWU&t=9129s The Vera Rubin full-stack computing platform was the main focus of the whole event. It was NVIDIA’s first vertically integrated AI system built from the ground up for agentic workloads. What Vera Rubin is: a full “AI factory in a box” with seven specialised chips, five different rack-scale systems, and one supercomputer that works with all of them. It has the new Vera CPU, which is made for agents that need long-term memory and planning, and the BlueField-4 STX storage processor, which is already being used by the whole industry. NVIDIA also showed the Feynman platform (the architecture after Vera Rubin) to the public for the first time. It has the Rosa CPU (named after Rosalind Franklin), the LP40 Liquid Processing Unit, BlueField-5, CX10 networking, and next-generation optics that let you scale up and out to huge sizes. Enterprise systems launched: DGX Spark — compact clustering for up to 4 nodes, perfect for mid-size companies. DGX Station — the world’s most powerful deskside supercomputer (GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra, 20 petaflops, runs 1-trillion-parameter models locally). RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition — 165W single-slot GPU that delivers 100× faster vision AI. New RTX PRO Blackwell workstations — up to 4,000 TOPS of local AI performance. These platforms are fully software-optimized and unified, so the same code runs from a single workstation all the way to an exascale AI factory. 3. Agentic AI Revolution: OpenClaw and NemoClaw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jw_o0xr8MWU&t=9129s The official start of the agentic AI era was one of the most exciting things about Nvidia GTC 2026. This is AI that can see, plan, act, and learn all the time, just like a digital employee. OpenClaw is the most popular open-source operating system for agentic computers in the world. Peter Steinberger started OpenClaw, and NVIDIA now fully supports it. It has already become the fastest-growing open-source project in history. It’s like “Android for agents.” It turns any NVIDIA hardware, like DGX Spark, RTX workstations, or cloud clusters, into a secure, always-on agentic computer with memory that doesn’t go away, real-time planning, and built-in safety rules. Developers can use it on NVIDIA chips or even chips that aren’t NVIDIA and still get official optimisations. NemoClaw — The Complete Production-Grade Stack Built directly on OpenClaw, NemoClaw is the full software platform that includes: Optimized Nemotron agent models for reasoning and tool use Visual Agent Toolkit for building workflows Enterprise connectors to Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, Adobe, and Microsoft 365 Self-evolution loops so agents automatically improve from their own actions Together, OpenClaw (the OS layer) and NemoClaw (the application layer) let any developer or company build secure, 24/7 digital workers in days instead of months. Live “Build-a-Claw” workshops at GTC let attendees deploy real agents in under an hour. 4. Physical AI, Robotics & Autonomous Systems https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jw_o0xr8MWU&t=9129s NVIDIA moved AI from screens into the real world with the Open Physical AI Data Factory Blueprint (open-sourced on GitHub in April 2026). What it is: A complete reference architecture that uses Cosmos open-world foundation models to generate, multiply, score, and curate perfect synthetic data for robots and autonomous vehicles. Cloud partners include Microsoft Azure and Nebius. It solves the biggest bottleneck in robotics — lack of high-quality training data. Key new tools: Cosmos 3 — unifies world generation, vision reasoning, and action simulation in one model. Isaac GR00T N models (early access + N2 preview) — set new benchmarks in humanoid robotics. Major partnerships with ABB, Agility Robotics, Figure, FANUC, KUKA, Universal Robots, YASKAWA, and more. In healthcare, new datasets and models (Cosmos-H-Surgical, GR00T-H) are already being used by CMR Surgical, Johnson & Johnson, and Medtronic for next-generation surgical robots. Autonomous Vehicles: Drive Hyperion now powers Level-4 robotaxis for Nissan, BYD, Geely, Hyundai, Isuzu, and Uber. The new Alpamayo vision-language-action models handle complex “long-tail” scenarios that used to be impossible. 5. Gaming Breakthrough: DLSS 5 Neural Rendering https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jw_o0xr8MWU&t=9129s DLSS 5, which will come out in the autumn of 2026, is NVIDIA’s biggest graphics jump since real-time ray tracing in 2018. What it is: 3D-guided neural rendering and generative AI work together to make photorealistic 4K video in real time with lighting and materials that look like they are real, all while using a lot less computing power. It basically connects traditional rendering with AI-generated reality. 6. AI Goes Orbital: NVIDIA Space Computing NVIDIA launched dedicated space-grade platforms: Space-1 Vera Rubin Module — 25× more AI compute than
